On Your Toes

Willie Lewis found more success in Europe than he did in the US, which is a shame because he recorded some pretty good music. Among those who played under Lewis were Herman Chittison, Benny Carter, Bill Coleman, Garnet Clark, Bobby Martin, and June Cole. Lewis's Entertainers recorded for French label Disques Swing.
